Côte de Beaune 2016 Tasting

When | 2 nights - Monday 1st & Tuesday 2nd April, 6.30pm
Where | Maison Vauron, 5 McColl Street, Newmarket
Cost | $99/person

This is a tasting that all Chardonnay and Pinot lovers should pencil in. Much has been written about the quality of the 2016 vintage as a great follow up to the superb 2015s. The wines are truly beautiful, the Chardonnays have freshness and richness and the Pinots are the essence of what makes Burgundy so good - pure, sensual and mineral.

Gilles Papst will work his magic again with matching taste sensations.

Domaine Thomson Dégustation

Where | Maison Vauron, 5 McColl Street, Newmarket

With Anzac day fast approaching it’s always good to look at the links between NZ and France. For us there is no better place to start than Domaine Thomson. It is exciting times for them as they have been expanding their foothold in Burgundy, while at the same time their Central Otago vineyard has gone from strength to strength.
Join us and David Hall-Jones, whose enthusiasm is infectious, as he tells the fascinating story behind the Domaine as we try both his NZ and French wines.
Gilles Papst has produced a great menu, please check it out here.
