Pommard 1er Cru Pezerolles 14
Soft wood is present on the attractively fresh nose of spice, red currant and tea aromas. There is good detail to the rich, round and refined medium weight flavours that culminate in a firm and mildly austere finish where the supporting tannins exhibit a noticeable touch of asperity. Despite the slight edge this seems to work anyway even though I doubt that the balance will ever be ideal.
