The 2010 vintage from Mouton Rothchild’s stablemate asks the question, how this wine is a fifth growth Bordeaux? The vineyards in Pauillac are some of the finest in the world for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, and Château d’Armailhac is in the north of the appellation on deep gravely soil. The quality of the Château exists in a level above many of its peers, with long lived and powerfully aromatic wines. This vintage is drinking well now, but will continue to develop over the next 5 years.
