Château du Seuil utilise their old vines, with an average of 35 years, planted in the deep gravels that give the region its name. The subsoils are broken into various pockets of limestone, giving freshness, sand, which lends prettiness and youth, and iron rich clay which influences the rich tannin structure of the wine. The soil combined with the richness of the 2018 vintage culminates in a wine of presence, structure, and elegance.
