Ch Belair Monange

Chateau Belair-Monange, named until 2007 Chateau Belair, is a Bordeaux wine producer from the appellation Saint Emilion, ranked Premier grand cru classe B in the Classification of Saint Emilion wine. The winery is located in the Right Bank of France’s Bordeaux wine region in the commune of Saint Emilion.

Since 2008, Jean-Pierre Moueix team is striving to bring back to this historical vineyard, formerly considered the first of the firsts, its ancient splendour. In memory of Anne-Adele Monnange, mother of Jean-Pierre Moueix and first woman from the family to settle in Saint-Emilion in 1931, the vineyard was renamed from the vintage 2008: Chateau Belair-Monange.

The Belair-Monange vineyard area extended 12.5 hectares with a grape variety distribution of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, with the grand vin Chateau Belair-Monange being the only produced wine.
