Chamirey

Chamirey

In 1934, Marquis de Jouennes, as a forerunner, decides to bottle the wines of Chateau de Chamirey, at the Domaine. Then, his son-in-law, Bertrand Devillard, carried on his work and extends the Domaine in the best terroirs of Mercurey, to reach its present size of 95 acres. Nowadays, Amaury and Aurore Devillard, the 5th generation, took over it.

The Domaine of Chateau de Chamirey, planted in the best terroirs of Mercurey, covers 37 hectares (27 reds, 10 whites, 15 of which are Premier Cru) reflecting the diverse soils and micro climates found within the Mercury appellation.
