Annonce de Belair Monange

Annonce de Belair Monange

Chateau Belair-Monange, named until 2007 Chateau Belair, is a Bordeaux wine producer from the appellation Saint Emilion, ranked Premier grand cru classe B in the Classification of Saint Emilion wine. The winery is located in the Right Bank of France’s Bordeaux wine region in the commune of Saint Emilion.

Since 2008, Jean-Pierre Moueix team is striving to bring back to this historical vineyard, formerly considered the first of the firsts, its ancient splendour. In memory of Anne-Adele Monnange, mother of Jean-Pierre Moueix and first woman from the family to settle in Saint-Emilion in 1931, the vineyard was renamed from the vintage 2008: Chateau Belair-Monange.

Following the restructuring of the estate initiated in 2008, another wine embodying the inherent qualities of the vineyard – minerality, concentration of red berries, balance and length – emerged in 2014: Annonce de Belair Monange. Produced in very limited quantities, Annonce enjoys the same attention as the Grand Vin.
