Chateau Tendon was discovered by Belot, who acquired it as a vineyard nearly 20 years ago. It was a place full of history, the visit of Louis XIV was an occasion to remember at Tendon when he passed through during his passage in Languedoc. At the time of discovery the 18 hectares of vines were in poor condition and not been touched for years. The old abandoned vines were replaced with new grape varieties not seen on the vineyard before. Today the Belot Tendon sits on 35 hectares.
