Daniel is an ex-co-operateur who started in 1991 with under 10 hectares in total – 7 ha of Muscat, 2 ha of Ventoux, 1 ha of Côtes du Rhône. Daniel is from La Roque-Alric, while Isabelle from Beaumes-de-Venise. Daniel actually started out in 1982, working growing many crops, including table grapes and nursery plants, cherries, apricots, asparagus, melon towards the sandy soils of Aubignan.
