Rottiers

Rottiers

Richard created his vineyard in 2007 by taking over the management of 5 hectares of vines aged from 40 to 80 years and decided to experiment with innovative methods, all focus on the environment.

Since 2012, Richard Rottiers uses full organic methods, making wines that truly demonstrate the terroir of “Moulin à Vent”, an area often referred to as the King of the Beaujolais villages (with Fleurie as the Queen).

Before settling in Moulin, Richard had spent time learning his trade in the Chablis, Gaillac, Luberon and Brouilly, as well as South Africa and New Zealand.
