Petit Gres Champenois 150g
Considered the "white" version of Gres des Vosges, this one is completely identical - made of fresh cows' milk in the Champagne region of France, decorated with a fern leaf on top, in the familiar oval shape - except it has a thin, yet fluffy bloomy rind and is enriched with extra creme-fraiche, making it a double-creme.
It has a creamy mouthfeel and a pleasant lactic tang to balance the gentle salinity and faint grassy, earthy notes. It pairs well with white Cote du Rhone and light red Burgundy.
