Goat cheese, Fig jam & Bayonne Ham Tartine

Tasty and indulgent treat for Sunday brunch, easy to make by Dad and the little ones!

Makes 6 Tartines: 


  1. Preheat the oven on 180C
  2. Rub the baguette with a garlic clove
  3. Slice six 1cm slices of baguette
  4. Brush generously with olive oil
  5. Bake for around 10 minutes or until golden brown
  6. Break down the goat cheese with a fork, add a little salt and pepper and a few thyme leaves
  7. Spread some goat cheese on each piece of bread, then a teaspoon of fig jam
  8. Fold the slices of ham and place on top of each tartine
  9. Garnish with a fresh basil leave and a crack of black pepper
