Not one but two wines will be taking the stage this month, showing us the excellence of Bordeaux from the vintage that blew our socks off - 2015. It was an iconic year (for Bordeaux that is...) where the wines presented wonderful pure fruit, fine tannins and a succulent, supple texture. As you can see we're still enthusiastic about it 3 years later.
Château Haut-Mayne Graves 2015
the incredibly gravelly soils, which gave the region it’s name, give you an extremely earthy wine with plenty of power and character. full-bodied drinking, with dark fruit characters of liquorice, tobacco and vanilla.
Petit Cantenac St-Emilion Grd Cru 2015
A producer close to our hearts. A great harvest has given this wine elegance and diversity. Lots of complexity and aging potential. The red fruit character brings exceptional freshness for a wine of this size.
