Description
Furstentum is an Alsace Grand Cru vineyard and corresponding appellation split between the communes of Kientzheim and Sigolsheim in Alsace, north-eastern France. At 30 hectares, it is of average size amongst Alsace's 51 Grand Cru sites. A beautiful dominant yellow colour with many golden highlights. A delicate nose with aromas of citrus and orange blossom evolving into exotic fruits. On the palate, the attack is lively, saline and with sap. The bitters, the richness and the acidity form a nice balance and bring the complexity necessary to the good aging of this wine.
