Not to be confused with the other Perrières or Les Perrières of Burgundy, this Puligny-Montrachet vineyard is a gem in Etienne Sauzet’s already outstanding collection. Named after the old limestone quarry that lies to the west, the soil here is a rich array of marl, limestone, and clay mix. The vineyard displays the classic Puligny minerality and exciting energy which races along with the full body gifted by the deeper soils.
