Description
Clos Béru Chablis is simply gorgeous Chardonnay. The vineyard produces brilliant, powerful, round and mineral wines. The wines have tremendous depth, complexity and energy.
Clos Béru is a unique, walled vineyard of 5 hectares located on the Château’s property. The vineyard is plowed by horse. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. The harvest is directly pressed at a low pressure. Fermentation occurs with native yeast. The wine ages in oak barrels for a long period of 2-2.5 years. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration and with low SO2.
