The Molesme 1er cru is one of the warmer plots in Rully, with an east and south-east exposure. Classically from a good Burgundy 1er cru the soil is comprised of different types of limestone giving vivacious acidity and energy to the wine, this was particularly useful in the 2019 vintage where yields were lower than usual. The Molesme 1er cru can be enjoyed now with time in the decanter and will certainly benefit from a few years in your cellar.
